The Dark Skies Arts Festival is unique in many
ways. One of the ways we intend to set a new standard is to post our
accountings online both before AND after the event. To our knowledge,
no one else is doing this. We have no problem with open books. In fact,
we hope that by showing you guys what goes into this that you'll
actually bug your friends and BUY A TICKET to this awesome event. Yea
we DID just say that! Here's why: without ticket sales there is no event, we're not selling bottled water or hot dogs because there is no vending at Dark Skies. TICKET SALES are our only source of revenue. From this
posted accounting you can see how far we are in the hole (or out of it knock on wood)
at any given moment.
Please take a minute and look it over.
